Tatar indicted on charge of issuing fictitious license

The Grundy County Circuit Court Grand Jury returned several indictments Wednesday, Feb. 2.

Kimberly Tatar, 53, was indicted on a Feb. 20, 2009 charge of official misconduct, a Class 3 felony. As an employee of the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, Tatar allegedly issued a fictitious driver’s license knowing it was against the law.

She was indicted on a second count of issuance of a fictitious driver’s license, a Class 4 felony. An Illinois Secretary of State office testified at the indictment hearing.

Other indictments

• Daniel P. Rodgers, 43, was indicted on a driving under the influence of alcohol charge, a Class 2 felony. Rodgers has at least two priors of this charge, according to the indictment. An Illinois State Police officer testified.

• Nick Adamson, 34, was indicted on a driving while license revoked charge, a Class 4 felony. Adamson was charged with this at least one other time, according to the indictment. Adamson’s license was revoked due to a DUI charge. A Grundy County Sheriff’s Department officer testified.
