Streator’s Luckey joins law firm

STREATOR — Myers, Berry, O’Conor and Kuzma, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Cara M. Luckey has joined the law firm as an associate attorney.

Luckey is a native of Streator and attended Woodland High School. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2011.

While in law school, Luckey volunteered with the University of Missouri Family Violence Clinic, a legal aid clinic which assisted clients in obtaining civil protection orders.

Luckey has written an article entitled, “Commercial Surrogacy: Is Regulation Necessary to Manage the Industry?” which will soon be published in the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender, and Society.

Luckey is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. She is assisting clients in the Streator and Ottawa offices of Myers, Berry, O’Conor and Kuzma and practices in the areas of family law, real estate, local government, civil litigation, and estate planning and administration.
