Chamber dinner slated for Feb. 29

This year’s annual dinner, co-hosted with Grundy Economic Development Council, is a particularly special event for the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This year, the Chamber begins celebrating its 65th year of serving the business community. The Annual Dinner, which will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 29 at the Morris Country Club, celebrates the contributions businesses and organization have made. During this celebration, the Chamber will ask anyone who has served on the Chamber board or on one of the many committees throughout the years to join them and be recognized.

The celebration will begin at 5 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner and conclude with the awards program. The cost is $40 per person and advanced reservations are required.

The Chamber is also publishing a business resource guide later in the year and will be seeking historical data about the Chamber (photos, clippings, etc) to use in the guide. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Chamber. All originals will be returned.
