JOLIET — Officials at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center (PSJMC) recently welcomed a new cadre of medical staff officers, including a new President and President-Elect.
Dennis Killian, M.D., a Board-certified cardiologist with Joliet based Heartland Cardiology, has been appointed President of the Medical Staff.
Gregory Andros, M.D., is the new President-Elect. Dr. Andros specializes in Urology at Advanced Urology Associates, Joliet.
Sarode Pundaleeka, M.D., is Past-President. Dr. Pundlaeeka is a Board-certified oncologist with Joliet Oncology Hematology Associates.
Bhuvan Chawla, M.D., a Board-certified nephrologist with Sun Nephrology in Joliet, has been named is the new Secretary-treasurer.
According to Beth Hughes, President and CEO, “These exceptional physicians provide exemplary leadership to both their peers and the Medical Center in ensuring that our combined efforts advance our leading edge clinical offerings and services to the community, as well as our faith-based Mission.”
The officers were selected to serve a year-long term by their fellow physicians on the 570-member medical staff of PSJMC.
