Saturday Galabration benefits SMIP school
PLAINFIELD, IL - This year, St. Mary Immaculate School (SMIP) is featuring some notable auction items at its annual fundraiser, Galabration ’12: Diamonds & Denim, to benefit the school and its children.
Galabration ’12 is on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 6 to 11:30 p.m. at The Joliet Renaissance Center, 214 N. Ottawa St., Joliet.
Preferred dress is Denim & Bling. You can dress up or dress down, there are no rules, just lots of glitz and glamour.

The past 15 years, with the help of local and national patrons and sponsors, SMIP has raised funds to help each child attending the school.
In addition to the auction, the evening includes white-glove appetizer service, cocktails and dancing.
A benefit auction will feature both live and silent-auction items. Highlights of both auctions include seven night accommodations to a Caribbean resort and a Chicago Sports Fan Package.

About SMI School
St. Mary Immaculate Parish School is a grade school in Plainfield, IL that supports children from Preschool through the eighth grade with a unique approach to learning and encouraging students to achieve high potentials in the academic and daily life.
