WASHINGTON PARK (MCT) — Two women who were working Friday at a strip club in the 2100 block of North Kingshighway have been charged with stealing a customer's credit card and withdrawing money from his account.

Charged were Tanya L. Bagwell, 34, of Belleville, and Samantha L. Metz, 24, of Wood River. Both are employed as exotic dancers at C-Mowes, police said.

"Bagwell got his PIN number as he used the card at the club. He had gotten drunk. Bagwell gave the card and pin number to Metz," Washington Park Police Chief David Clark, said.

Clark said $500 was taken from the account before the man reported the card stolen to police.

Both are charged with one count of theft over $500 and bond was set at $50,000 each. Metz posted the 10 percent bail and was released from the St. Clair County Jail. Bagwell was still being held at the jail Monday.
