Mr. Robert E. "Bob" Smith, 91, a longtime Morris resident, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Morris Hospital.

Funeral services for Robert E. Smith will be Thursday, March 8, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson Street, Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Ed Howe officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 West U.S. 6, at Deerpath Dr., Morris.
