Trade symposium planned at USF

JOLIET — Nancy Jones, executive director of Chicago Fair Trade, will discuss the benefits of using fair trade products at the University of St. Francis (USF) Spring Symposium. The symposium will be Thursday, March 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Sue Manner Turk Theater in the Moser Performing Arts Center, Tower Hall. The main campus is located at 500 Wilcox St., Joliet.

The symposium is free and open to the public. Businesses, members of the faith community, and anyone wanting to learn more about Fair Trade are encouraged to attend.

The Spring Symposium on Fair Trade is sponsored by USF’s Center for the Study of Contemporary Ethics and the College of Business and Health Administration as part of the university’s Year of Integrity.
