SENECA — Temporary student records of former Seneca Township High School special education students are now available to parents/guardians or to students over the age of 18.
The records, possibly valuable for Social Security purposes or welfare benefits, may include information relevant to the student, such as psychological evaluations, intelligence test scores, aptitude tests, etc. The files will not include academic transcripts, attendance records or other records contained in the student permanent record.
Parents/guardians or students aged 18 and over who would like these records can call Joan Claggett at (815) 357-5001 to arrange to pick up the record. If the student is 18 years of age or older, the signature of the student is required before the record information can be released.
Assistant Principal Dan Manullang may be contacted for additional information regarding special education files. Unclaiimed special education temporary records will be destroyed 60 days from the date of this notice.
