Jonen, Rogers, Vesper and Michelle Jakaitis were first in the triple jump relay with a distance of 120-11.

The 4x800 relay team of Caleigh Beverly, Kiley Saunders, Laura Simon and Haley McNamara were first in 10:11.49; the mid-distance relay team of Lucia Rossi, Nicole Johnson, Beverly and Mallory Maticic were first in 7:07.50; the 4x200 relay team of Chrissy Allen, Bethany Bachmann, Rogers and Angelica Estrada were first in 1:47.82; the 4x400 relay team of Bachmann, Mariah Divis, Estrada and Jonen won in 4:09.14 and the 800 sprint relay team of Allen, Bachmann, Estrada and Sara Bechard won in 1:54.31.

The Minooka JV team won the 4x100 race in :53.12 and the 4x200 relay race in 1:51.44. The 4x200 team of Bechard, Marah Kasuba, Prieboy and Kayla Yates set a new meet record. The 4x100 team was made up of Madison Angus, Kasuba, Divis and Yates.

"I was very proud of the way these girls competed today," Minooka coach Kevin Gummerson said. "Each one of them came to the track focused and excited about competing. We had a ton of bright spots as every single event was able to score points for us. We have a well-balanced team and it really showed today. There are a lot of positive signs coming from this team. We need to keep working and keep getting better each and every meet."

The Indians finished second at the event, scoring 102 1/2 points. Neuqua Valley won the Invite with a team score of 111.

Ethan Cane set a new school record in the long jump with a distance of 21-6. His performance was one of four firsts on the day, including Ryan Pullara in the pole vault. He cleared 13-6, which puts him at the top of the nation for freshman vaulters. Also for the varsity, Alex Wielbik cleared 13-0 and Joe Santillo won the 1600 in 4:27.2.

Additionally, Dan Popek was third in the 800 with a time of 1:57.35; Zach Zamora was third in the 110 high hurdles with a time of :16.26 and the 4x400 relay team of Wilson, Dan Ingram, Popek and Hopkins were third in 3:27.
