Ellis House plans Earth Day event

MINOOKA — Ellis House and Equestrian Center, located at 13986 McKanna Rd. in Minooka, will host an Earth Day at Ellis celebration from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22.

This is a free event that is open to the public. Activities planned include a University of Illinois Extension scavenger hunt, bird walks, nature hay wagon rides, compost education, Lights for Learning energy bike, live entertainment, concessions, pony rides, Inkjet cartridges and cell phone recycling center and K’nex demonstrations.
