GARDNER, Ill. — Mrs. Dorothy Lee Neitzer, 74, formerly of Gardner, Ill., and late of Casa Grande, Ariz., passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Chandler Regional Medical Center in Chandler, Ariz.
Cremation rites were accorded. A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes, Ltd., Braidwood Chapel, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21. Inurnment will be private.
Dorothy was born Feb. 17, 1938, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Joseph and Evelyn Ballun.
Surviving are three sons, John Kline of East Brooklyn, Ill., Tom (Lorraine) Neitzer of Danvers, Ill., and Brian Neitzer of Gardner, Ill.; and one granddaughter, Jacquelyn Neitzer of San Antonio, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Andrew Neitzer; and her special friend, Harold Shelton.
Memorial gifts in her name may be directed to the Braceville Fire Department or Kuzma Care Cottage.
