Reed-Custer soccer makes statement against Morris

Reed-Custer soccer coach Emily Redmann said Monday's match was exactly what she was hoping for.

After scoring four unanswered goals in the second half in Morris against the Redskins, and taking a 5-1, non-conference victory, the Comets were decidedly happy with the outcome.

"This is what we are calling a statement game. It says to people that we aren't on the bottom any more," Redmann said. "That's kind of the team that Reed-Custer has been. We wanted to buck that and we did against Morris, a bigger school, today."
