Grundy Speedway set to go green

Late Model driver Trevor Tichy of Oswego was busy under the hood of his 2007 Lefthander chassis late Tuesday afternoon. He was working to shore up his Chevy Crate motor in an effort to get it ready for Friday's opener at the Grundy County Speedway this Friday.

"Right now we're adjusting the nose and fixing a couple of oil leaks," he said from the pits. "This is the first time we've had it out all year. I tore it all the way down to the chassis and built it back up. And this is the first time I've had it out, getting it ready for Friday night."

Tichy finished 21st in the Late Model standings last year and he's excited to get the season is his No. 4 underway.
