Prep Roundup: Morris soccer team beats Streator

The Redskins got goals from Jordan Cummings, Sam Cherrone and Selene Gabaldon each in the 3-2 win over Streator on Wednesday.

Katherine Gallick had two assists and Sam Limbach one.

"We wanted this win really bad, especially with the injuries we currently have," Morris coach Jeff Hunt said. "Losing to Reed-Custer this week really hurt and we wanted to get a little confidence back. I think being able to pull it off without some key players really helped to build some confidence in the other's playing abilities. Early on we connected some beautiful passes and were able to finish. I was hoping for a little more in the second half, but we were able to do enough to get the job done, and that's all I could ask out of them tonight."
