Man claims person was picking asparagus without permission

A Minooka man reported to Kendall County deputies that someone was picking his asparagus without permission.

The report was made at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Van Dyke Road in Seward Township, according to Kendall County Sheriff's Office records.

The man also told deputies that the man quit picking the asparagus when he was approached by the homeowner. No one was arrested in the case.
