NIB12 East softball win to Yorkville
In the first inning of Thursday's Northern Illinois Big 12 East Conference game, the Yorkville softball team came out and scored four runs against hosting Morris. It looked very much like a it was going to be continuation of a run-rule decision by the Foxes against the Redskins earlier in the year.
However, that look was deceiving.
The locals answered right back with two runs in the bottom of the first and held tight in what turned out to be an 8-4 win by Yorkville.
