Dr. Daniel Jurak has been appointed to the board of directors at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers. His appointment increases the number of physicians serving on the hospital board from two to three as a result of a recent change in the board by-laws.

Dr. Jurak is family medicine physician who practices full time in Coal City. He joined the medical staff at Morris Hospital in 1994, and has served in a number of leadership roles over the past 18 years, including vice president of the medical staff in 2000-01, president in 2002-03 and 2006-07, immediate past president in 2004-05 and 2008-09, and chief of family practice in 1997, 2010 and 2012.
