Prep Roundup: Minooka 20th, Seneca 34th at bass fishing finals
At the IHSA State Bass Fishing finals this past weekend, the Minooka anglers finished in 20th place overall while Seneca wound up 34th.
Minooka caught 11 pounds, 1 ounce worth of bass on Friday and 10 pounds, nine ounces on Saturday for a two-day total of 21 pounds, 10 ounces.
Seneca caught nine pounds, four ounces of fish on Friday and nine pounds, eight ounces on Saturday for a two-day total of 18 pounds, 12 ounces. Jimmy David had the big-bass of the day for the Fighting Irish by catching a 3 pounds, six ounce largemouth.
