SUGAR GROVE — Perry Harlow of Seneca High School was one of 12 students recently selected as winners in the Local Chapter Award Program of the Phil Delta Kappa International Scholarship Program for Prospective Educators.

Phi Delta Kappa International’s scholarship program has become one of the largest educational award programs intended for future educators in the U.S. Over 150,000 high school applications are received annually. This year, the Northern Illinois Area Chapter scholarship committee evaluated over 70 applications, including Harlow, on their academic accomplishments, contributions and service to their school and community  and letter of recommendation.
