Rose will be missed by US team in London
DALLAS (MCT) — Mike Krzyzewski loves Derrick Rose. He would have loved coaching the Bulls guard this summer even more.
Alas, a fateful jump stop and a torn ACL pre-empted Rose’s inclusion on the Team USA roster that Krzyzewski will manage as its coach. That put Rose in another section of the player pool, the one that prompted an extension of roster finalization to July 7: Surefire members eliminated from competition because of injury.
