Mr. Vito A. “Skeets” Bonomo has passed away.

The retired assistant chief of York Center Fire District, Mr. Bonomo was also retired president of VB Motor Service Inc.

The loving husband of Carol (Teleso) Bonomo, he was the devoted father of Patricia (Dennis) Loiseau; David (Shirley) Bonomo, a trustee of Morris Fire Protection and Ambulance District; and Chief Andy (Diane) Bonomo Jr. of York Center Fire District. He was also the beloved grandfather of Kimberly (Eloy) Martinez, Dennis (Maureen) Loiseau Jr., Shelly (Matthew) Montello, Carol Jean (Tim) Seldomridge, Matthew Bonomo, Jason (Alicia) Bonomo, Brett (Alexa) Bonomo of Castle Rock,  Colo., Fire Department, Melissa (Robert) Doucet, Lt. Vito (Amy) Bonomo III of Plainfield Fire District, and Gina (Brian) Stahl.  He was the dear great-grandfather of 25, as well as the fond brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle to many.
