Tabler Road resident raises concerns about truck traffic

Citizens say Brisbin Road enhances need for enforcement

MINOOKA — Families living on Tabler Road in unincorporated Minooka have some major concerns about semi traffic on a roadway that has a posted weight limit of 8 tons.

Tabler Road resident Al Chesko told village trustees that he and his neighbors are worried about more truck traffic once the new interchange opens up.

“Once they get Brisbin Road (interchange) open, it’s going to be a shortcut,” Chesko said.
