Home burglaries reported in unincorporated Minooka

All incidents reportedly happened during the daytime Wednesday

MINOOKA — Kendall County Sheriff's Office officials are investigating three residential burglaries that were reported Wednesday in unincorporated Minooka.

According to Deputy Craig French of the Kendall County Sheriff's Office, the burglaries took place within miles of each other during the day in the 2600 block of Bell Road, 14000 block of Arbeiter Road and 600 block of U.S. 52.

According to sheriff's office releases, in one incident, a woman saw that a door at her home was open and noticed items were missing from the home. In a second incident, a man noticed items were out of place and belongings were missing. French said each case involved the theft of jewelry.
