I.C.S. teachers honored for service milestones
Six Immaculate Conception School teachers were recently honored for their years of service as Catholic school teachers in the Diocese of Joliet. Awards were presented to the teachers at the school’s honors awards assembly that was held on May 14.
Mrs. Janelle Aldrich and Mrs. Kristen Hemmersbach were awarded certificates from the Catholic Schools Office for 10 years of service as teachers in the Diocese of Joliet. Mrs. Hemmersbach has served as the first grade teacher at the school for the past 10 years. Mrs. Aldrich has served as sixth grade homeroom teacher and has taught science to students in fifth through eight grades.
Mrs. Theresa Hudson was presented a certificate honoring her for 15 years of service in the Diocese. During those years, Mrs. Hudson has taught third and fourth grades as well as library. She currently serves as the school’s librarian.
