Two report injuries in three-vehicle crash

Two people were transported to an area hospital Wednesday morning after a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle, according to Morris Police Department officials.

Deputy Chief Harvey Van Cleave said that, at about 10:40 a.m., a Chevy Equinox and a motorcycle were stopped in a northbound lane in the 1800 block of Illinois 47, when a 1995 Dodge Neon driven by Amy J. Bellus, 52, of Morris, struck the rear end of the Equinox, which struck the rear of the motorcycle.

The crash ejected the motorcyclist, who landed on the pavement.
