Finn Found

After 2 1/2 months, runaway dog caught

Lost dog Finn, who made his way from Minooka to Romeoville in the past 2 1/2 months, has been found.

Finn, a 2-year-old male Brittany and Spaniel mix, was being transported March 31 from one car to another at a Cracker Barrel in Joliet when he slipped out of his collar. He had been on the run since.

At that time, Finn was on his way to his new forever home when he made a break for it. Ever since then, volunteers from Joliet, Romeoville, Channahon, Minooka and other communities worked together tracking sightings, putting out traps, and spreading the word, including on a Help FIND FINN Facebook page that has more than 430 likes.
