Dash returns to Channahon for second year
CHANNAHON — April Smith and her family came down to celebrate Father's Day this past weekend. Considering the crew from Batavia did it at Dollinger Family Farm, that seems quite fitting.
However, it's the way they spent that quality time together that stands out since the Warrior Dash was on the Farm over the two-day span.
"I'm here spending Father's Day with my family. It's a family affair," she said. "It's like a Father's Day thing and we do it each year. We do it to challenge ourselves."
