Incident at local motel leads to man’s arrest

Morris police arrested a man early Saturday morning after he allegedly refused to leave another person’s hotel room and spit at a police officer.

According to a Morris Police Department release, police were dispatched to Quality Inn Motel, located at 200 W. Gore Road. Police arrested Pavel Rostilov, 37, of Morris, for criminal trespass to property after entering a room of another customer and refusing to leave.
