Will County collects another $2 million

Fines, fees can be paid online, over phone

JOLIET — Pamela J. McGuire, Will County Circuit Clerk announced recently her office has collected another $2 million through its ongoing collection efforts.

“We continue to have great success with this program, and wish to thank Will County States Attorney Jim Glasgow and Will County Executive Larry Walsh for their support,” McGuire said. “It is the position of the Circuit Clerk’s Office to remain unrelenting with its collection efforts so that anyone who owes unpaid fines or fees for breaking the law, as ordered by the court, is held accountable. Collections will remain in the forefront of this office so each municipality and the taxpayers ultimately benefit.”
