Free car cruise planned in Morris on June 29

The Wendy’s Cruisers will have their second annual free car cruise through downtown Morris on Friday, June 29.

Bring your old car, truck, cycle, tractor, etc. and buzz the gut to downtown Morris. There will be a car ‘’cruise in’’ at the parking lot across the street from the Grundy County Courthouse during Liberty Days celebration. It is free and dash plaques will be given to participants (up to 75).

Participants should line up on north  Liberty Street, by Ace Hardware,  around 4 p.m. on June 29. The cruise will leave at 4:45 p.m. sharp. Last year, around 45 vehicles participated. Decorating cars with American flags is encouraged.
