Kids in temporary custody after Northlake couple's arrest in Kansas
(MCT) — A Northlake couple charged with child abuse after allegedly leaving two of their children bound and blindfolded in a Kansas parking lot last week remain in jail while their children have been removed from emergency protective custody, officials said.
Police found the children of Adolfo and Deborah Gomez in a Wal-Mart parking lot June 13 in Lawrence, Kan., authorities say.
