Two ask Dist. 54 board to allow public to speak sooner

Comment opportunity comes after action is already made

At the end of the Morris Elementary School District 54 Board of Education meeting Monday night, two community members voiced their opinions about the relocation of the meeting’s public comment section.

About nine months ago, in September 2011, the portion of the board’s meeting where the public can formally address the board was moved from before action was taken in the meeting to after it.
