Casino jobs deal good hand to some employees
(MCT) — For John Allison, a job at the Hollywood Casino in Joliet was just the break he needed.
A Joliet native, Allison was working at a local health club in late 1991 and aspired to become a police officer. But those plans were derailed when Allison, then 21, was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma.
