Pasteris opts to leave Nettle Creek
Superintendent takes position with HBR Unit School District
Superintendent Dr. Pete Pasteris resigned from Nettle Creek School District 24C Wednesday night to pursue a superintendent position with Hinckley-Big Rock Unit School District 429.
Pasteris' last day at Nettle Creek will be Friday, June 29. He will begin his superintendency at Hinckley-Big Rock Monday, July 2.
"I'm going to miss Nettle Creek," Pasteris said Thursday afternoon. "It was a very difficult decision, but one I needed to make for my family."
