White Sox either stuck with or sticking with Hudson at third

CHICAGO (MCT) — As the calls for Dan Johnson and Conor Jackson escalated late Tuesday, Gordon Beckham offered some words of warning for those who believe playing third base isn’t as hard as Orlando Hudson is making it seem.

“He never has played third base before,” Beckham said Wednesday, one day after Hudson committed a throwing error that led to two runs in a 2-1 loss to the Cubs. “People think that’s an easy transition. It’s not. If you’ve played the middle infield your whole life, and you all of a sudden go to third base, it is a different world over there.”
