Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Marseilles

Victim airlifted to Loyola Medical Center

MARSEILLES, Ill. — A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle at 10:43 p.m. Thursday, June 21, approximately 1 mile north of 11th Street on County Highway 15, according to Marseilles Police Chief James Hovious.

Once responding to the scene, police found an unresponsive victim lying in the roadway, Hovious said. The driver of the vehicle was also on the scene.

The unidentified victim was airlifted to Loyola Medical Center.
