7 rescued after boat crashes into breakwall
(MCT) — The U.S. Coast Guard rescued seven people clinging to a breakwall off a Southeast Side beach after their motorboat crashed into a barrier, authorities said.
Coast Guard officials received a call just before 11:30 p.m. about the accident off Calumet Beach at East 98th Street, according to the Coast Guard's Calumet Harbor headquarters.
