The Morris Theatre Guild’s annual Maurice Alford Memorial Scholarship was presented to Morris Community High School senior Annie Martello Monday, May 7, 2012, during the high school’s annual awards ceremony.   

This is a one-time only $500.00 scholarship that honors the late Maurice Alford, a charter member of the Morris Theatre Guild, Inc., created in 1973, and is presented to an area high school senior who plans to pursue a career in some aspect of theater/dramatic arts, speech, or speech/broadcast communications.
