Health Department to discuss Illinois Cares Rx

The Grundy County Health Department would like to inform the public that the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services began mailing out letters on June 12 to state residents, letting them know that Illinois Cares Rx — which is the prescription benefit under Circuit Breaker — will be terminated on June 30, 2012.

The Senior Programs Division will hold two public informational sessions to discuss the changes that will take effect on July 1 with the termination of Illinois Cares Rx. The first is on Wednesday, June 27 at 1 p.m., and the second is on Thursday, June 28 at 10 a.m. Both presentations will be held at the Grundy County Administration Center, 1320 Union Street in Morris.
