Mrs. Mabel I. Claypool, 89, of Morris, Ill., passed away with her loving family by her side Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2012, at Morris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St., Morris, with Daniel Tein officiating. Interment will follow at Sample Cemetery.  Visitation will also be Saturday at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Born Dec. 24, 1922, in Newark, Ill., she was the daughter of Ingvald and Hannah (Mitchell) Stangland. She received her education in the schools of Morris.
