Pill Box

Secured drop box in place to collect unwanted medications

Grundy County Coroner John Callahan, the Morris Lions Club and the city of Morris have teamed up to make another effort to keep drugs off the street.

Located in the lobby of the Morris Municipal Services Facility is a secured drop box where people can drop off their unwanted prescription medications. The box is located on the police department side, next to the police window.

The box is the first of multiple ones Callahan would like to locate throughout the county. He is working on getting boxes in Channahon and Minooka next.
