Summerfest a success due to the hard work of Lions, other organizations
On behalf of Minooka Lions Club, I would like to announce that Minooka Summerfest 2012 was a huge success, thanks in part to a date change and the addition of the bands ARRA and Kashmir along with their great followings.
Attendance was higher than normal throughout the three days with our car show on Thursday, teen music festival on Friday and Saturday with our food vendors, farmers market, craft and information booths providing a steady stream of people.
