Teen suspected of battery reportedly batters officer
La Salle County deputies arrested a Crestwood teen early Tuesday in Seneca after he allegedly committed domestic battery, then battered a responding law enforcement officer.
According to the arrest report, at about 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at Woodsmoke Ranch, located at 2795 E. 28th Road. At the lot, deputies encountered Austin Szumigalski, 19, who had allegedly committed domestic battery.
