Families of Faith Christian Academy is now accepting registration for Camp Eagle Summer Camp.
Camp Eagle is for students entering Pre-K through eighth grade. Camp runs through Aug. 10.
Camping begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m., although extended hours are available for those who need them.
The registration fee is $50. The cost for campers is $150 a week or $40 a day.

Immaculate Conception
Immaculate Conception Parish’s Vacation Bible School, Amazing Desert Journey, will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day, July 9 to 13.
Your preschooler through fifth grader (grade just finished) can join VBS staff for the fun, while older children can participate as “guides.”
The fee is only $20 for one child and $10 for each additional child. The kids who take part will be able to have snacks, make unbelievable crafts, receive a T-shirt, sing songs and learn all about Jesus as our greatest treasure.

Abundant Life Fellowship
A summer family event, called “Babylon,” will be hosted at Abundant Life Fellowship Christian Church from July 9 to 13.
Families step back in time at Babylon, exploring Daniel’s adventures as a captive in a foreign land.
Kids ages 4 to 11 participate in a memorable Bible-times Marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Bible-time snacks, visit Daniel, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God’s Word.
Plus, everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes at Celebration — a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

New Hope Presbyterian
A summer kids’ event called Sky will be hosted at Hew Hope Presbyterian Church, 80 N. Garfield St., Coal City, from July 16 to July 20.
It will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
At Sky VBS, faith and imagination soar as kids discover that everything is possible with God through songs, games, treats, experiments, and Bible activities. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings.
Each day concludes with Fly Away Finale —a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
Sky is for kids from preschool to 5th grade. Individuals going into 6th grade or older are invited to be crew leaders at VBS.

Sheridan UMC
Vacation Bible School for children and teens, “Operation Overboard,” will be offered at Sheridan United Methodic Church.
Planned for 6 to 8 p.m. each day, July 16 to 20, it will be held at the church, 219 S. Bushnell Ave., Sheridan.
VBS is open to children ages 3 (potty-trained, please) to fifth grade, as well as those in sixth grade through high school.
Those participating will dive into summer fun and learn about God, his creatures of the sea and his love for all of us.
Would-be participants are asked to register early so organizers can plan to have enough materials for all children attending.
For those in sixth grade through high school, there will be special Bible lessons, crafts and games geared towards their age level.

First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church of Morris will hold Vacation Bible School the week of July 23 to 27 for preschoolers through 5th graders.
VBS will be held in the evenings, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme of this year’s VBS is Amazing Wonders Aviation.
Kids will encounter God like never before as they tour some of the world’s most marvelous natural wonders and learn to trust and recognize God as they explore His awesome power.

Channahon UMC
Channahon United Methodist Church, 24751 W. Eames St. (Rt. 6), Channahon, will hold Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening, from July 22 to 26.
The theme for this year’s VBS is “Sky, Everything is Possible with God.” It is open to children ages 3 (potty trained) through fifth grade.
