Police: Man with high-powered rifle nearly shoots woman
Kendall County deputies arrested a Romeoville man Tuesday, June 26, after they said he recklessly used a firearm.
At about 7:30 p.m., according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report, deputies responded to the 10600 block of U.S. 52 in Lisbon Township for a reckless conduct incident.
After an investigation, deputies arrested Steven B. Michalek, 27, after deputies determined he was allegedly firing high-powered rifles in a reckless manner without a shooting berm or a safe backdrop.
