Born April 9, 2012, Master Landon James Cherrone passed away at home, in his father’s arms, on June 29, 2012, in Springfield, Ill.

The beloved son of Michael and Emelie (Laursen) Cherrone, of Springfield, and formerly of Morris, Ill., he also leaves behind paternal grandparents Paul and Phyllis Cherrone; maternal great-grandmother Mary Laursen; his godparents, uncle Douglas (Maria Clough) Cherrone and aunt Linda Laursen; auntie Sam Cherrone; great uncle and aunt John and Gabrielle Laursen and their children, Stephanie, Brandy, Zack and Elly; special family friends Lacey Shanle and Jim “Grumpy” and Nancy McCormack; and many additional aunts, uncles and cousins.
