Walking four a cause
CHICAGO — Mandi Cockream, Ashley Shannon, Colleen Cockream and Tina Shannon, all of Morris, walked in the 13th annual National Kidney Foundation of Illinois’ Gift of Life Walk, Run and Roll in honor of friends and relatives living with kidney disease on Sunday, June 24.
Approximately 2,000 people participated in the event held at Soldier Field. The NKFI’s largest-attended fundraiser enjoyed a record-breaking attendance this year.
