Art class series returns to Ellis House next week

MINOOKA — Ellis House and Equestrian Center hosts “For the Love of Horses” art classes on the second Tuesday of each month, including this Tuesday, July 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 13986 McKanna Road in Minooka.

Intended for ages 8 and up, the classes will teach attendees to draw horses and much more while working with live models from Ellis House. All they need to bring is a sketchbook, pencil, a willingness to learn and a love of horses. Instructor Carolyn Freese has taught art for over 25 years.
