City moves forward with Old Stage Road survey
Residents' responses will be used to determine speed limit
The city of Morris plans to have surveys out to neighboring residents next week regarding whether Old Stage Road should stay at 25 mph or return to 35 mph.
During the regular Morris City Council meeting Monday, Alderman Drew Muffler said he put together a rough draft that he sent to Mayor Richard Kopczick. They are going to make some changes and then send it out next week to all the residents of Hatcher's Woods and some of the other neighborhoods along Old Stage Road.
"They will be asked to drop off their responses to city hall," Muffler said Tuesday. If it is after hours, the surveys can be put in the mailbox.
